Solom and Konrad meetup to show Ashes and Thrones team of the Solom and Konrad connection.

Indianapolis, Indiana. Thursday 24th July. (Off-Camera)

I had only just arrived in Indianapolis, Indiana, as I had business to attend to in Texas, where I continued to clean up the flooding and supply people with food, drink, clothes, kids' toys, and money as needed. I, along with my loved one, Jasmine, my two sons, and my daughter, have just arrived at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway circuit, as my loved one came from Indianapolis, Indiana. Of course, I had to be here today as I had practice tomorrow afternoon. We had the triple buggy with our children in the motorhome, and we unstrapped them from the buggy and placed them on the floor for the time being.

I had to unpack the large play area, taking out all the equipment and quickly setting it up for the babies to play in. I brought the baby high chairs to keep in the motorhome, as I know I will have them come to watch me race in the future. I made sure to get at least six bunk beds, with three beds in each of two bedrooms and a separate bedroom for my loved one and me. As Jasmine got toys for the babies to play with, I had to address a situation that would come later on.

Konrad Raab: “Babe, we may let our babies play around for a bit because you wanted to be here along with our babies, but I got wrestling business to tackle with Solom on and you know, I want you and the kids out of here when he comes.”

Jasmine Williams: “But I want to be with you and the babies until Sunday.”

Konrad Raab: “You will, but I don't want our babies to cry when they see Solom because they will get afraid of him. I promise that we will go out for a walk together as a family after he comes.”

Jasmine Williams: “I understand, but please let our kids play for an hour.”

I nodded as it was important for babies to play, which ironically were born four months ago, and they were already growing very fast. Jasmine and I watched them play for a while with the soft toys we had given them, as we refused to provide them with hard toys. I enjoyed being a dad, and I know Jasmine's enjoying being a mother. As the hour was up, Jasmine and I got each child into the pram for her to take, as I was expecting Solom anytime now, and we kissed before she left with my kids for a walk with ear defenders on.

I unpacked a lot of stuff while waiting for Solom to come since we only got to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway track. Twenty minutes later, he rang the doorbell, and I went straight to the door to open it and let him in. I was a little nervous, as I had kids' toys all over the place, wondering how he'd react to it, since it was Jasmine's idea, not mine, for the kids to be here. He came in, sat down, and looked at the situation he saw.

Solom: “Oh, you've got triplets now, that's right. How are they?”

Konrad Raab: “They are doing great, and Jasmine wanted to come here and bring the kids, understandable, considering she was born and raised here. Anyway, you don't want to hear about that.”

Solom: “Of course not, but we have to talk about you still being uncomfortable in tag matches. I get it in this case, but you have to trust me on this. I got a plan about this, and you need to, for the time being, get comfortable doing tag matches.”

Konrad Raab: “Honestly, I know I've not made an impact in making the pinfall for tag team matches, but I know that needs to change. However, participating in tag matches no longer bothers me. I'm pissed off and not because of teaming with Crush and his friends, including you. Not because I was attacked either. I embrace wrestlers attacking me from behind.”

I'm still really pissed off on what Michael Hill said about me and part of me didn't want Jasmine or my kids to be here because I was ready to let loose already, but the fact was I couldn't turn Jasmine and my kids being here down so Solom saw my frustration and I banged the table hard with my fist.

Solom: “I appreciate you're touching your dark side in front of me, but was it something to do with what Michael Hill said about you last week?”

Konrad Raab: “Of course it was. Fucking idiot said the prestige hasn't been the same, really? I've fucking defended the Intercontinental title against every single person that's stood in front of me. Fucking prick.”

Solom: “That's exactly the fire you need to beat on these guys in the tag team match you have coming up.”

He was right, I hadn't brought much of the fire when it came to my opponents in tag matches, and I had to recognise that right away.

Konrad Raab: “I do need to have a touch of fire and aggression, you're right. But speaking about the other side of the business, EPW's Revival event. Notice you're booked on there as IIW's International champion against J-Mont. Seems you have a history with him.”

Solom: “A lot of history. There's one other guy on the roster you should know about. Jestyr Seryous. He's teaming with me in IIW. I didn't even know you joined there until I saw your name in the Fight Four title contention match.”

Konrad Raab: “Originally, I wasn't meant to be booked for the show because I was going to do the Iowa Cup Race. But because the female owner mentioned the lack of roster members for the PPV show, I had to accept. But there's something you need to know about EPW so you understand.”

Solom: “Hm, what's that?”

I know he may get pissed at me, but I couldn't refuse the offer I had in EPW at the same time, nor did I know Solom was going to be booked for the EPW Revival show or be in EPW as a whole.

Konrad Raab: “I'm part of a team over there known as Ashes and Thorns. Abaddon Damocles, with his Japanese manager Mr Kei Michinoko, is a pure monster that's bigger than even you and the guy who got his manager to invite me to the team in the first place. Morbid Wolf is a pretty scary guy and has had a few wins that he wrestles like a wolf hungry for blood. Meanwhile, the girl I gave advice to, Belladonna Hunter, is working on a few things to improve as a wrestler. She has psychological tensions within her to do well for the team.”

Solom: “I get it, I'm not mad. The fact that Abbadon got Kei to recruit you for the team is awesome. They know you're a threat, and they saw that with you, as I did.”

Konrad Raab: “He already knew me from a wrestling company that we worked in many years ago, and I gave him advice on being a better wrestler in the ring. So it's returning the favour. Funny thing is, the deal came about straight after I had my first match with Vincent Stenhouse. That was why I couldn't turn the offer down; besides, I can do with more friends in the wrestling business.”

Solom: “A bit like you and me, except you had to go through tests to prove your worth to be in the team.”

It felt a relief as I explained the situation to him that he had to know being my tag partner and being extremely open with all of that. I nodded, knowing it was true, but at the same time, he owed me for that, and that was a way of paying me back. Although I had to ask Solom this, as I wanted him to do this.

Konrad Raab: “I really want you to meet the Ashes and Thorns team. I'll explain to them, before you come to visit, about the connection we have. I think you and Abaddon would get along, despite being a monster, but his manager talks for him. So come to Iowa race track, and I'll get them to come too, so they can meet with you.”

Solom: “That's great for me. I'd love to meet this team you're speaking about. Anyway, I let you have your family time here, considering they aren't here. I'll see you on Monday.”

I nodded as we shook hands and he went his separate way. At the same time, I waited for Jasmine to knock on the door as I put my shoes on before I leave the motorhome when she knocked half an hour later to join her and the kids for a walk until it was late at night to head back and get the kids changed from their nappies and my loved one feeds them. After that, we spent the day playing with them before they fell asleep, and we did too. Although we have to get up at night when the babies cry, it's nothing out of the ordinary.
