Dirt Car Racing Adventures preview for Supreme Championship Wrestling in my 2nd RP.

Barberville, Florida. Saturday 22nd November. (Offline)

It's interesting to get people to understand me more than just being a NASCAR driver since the NASCAR off season was the beginning of everything. Of course, it will come to a point that the PPV's will clash with NASCAR Cup Series races which was something I have to talk to Britt about on rescheduling the PPV's to be on Saturdays or for me to not take part in them at all. The point was I had my UMP Modified and six zero four late model car in the garage with me and only Solom has seen those cars. Of course, these EPW wrestlers will find out sooner than later that I'm more than just a NASCAR driver.

Especially being at this Volusia Speedway track where this is dirt racing at it's best. Been in Florida since last week which was nice because I had to do IMSA testing on top of the preview for the special cup they hold here every year, the races being today as well as yesterday, Emil and Dale Reutimann Memorial.

Of course, a lot of drivers said I had done well, despite not doing much dirt car racing apart from last week and a couple of weeks ago, got myself to being fifth fastest guy in UMP Modifieds and the sixth fastest guy in six zero four late models and they were on a break at the moment with other races taking place in this special memorial race. It seemed like majority of us Ashes and Thorns were doing our own thing, despite me and Belladonna being tag team champions.

Saying that, I know I need to address that at some point of the new title contenders for mine and Belladonna's tag titles which was Savage Blaze aka TJ Savage and Lilith Blaze. That's for another day as I was enjoying driving these cars again as it had been two years the last time I did since I couldn't do it last year due to a hectic schedule. This year has been far more relaxed.

However, there were these two dirt car drivers who I never met before, but heard so much about as they were competing in the Sprint Car races, but there weren't any sprint car races today so they must be here for a reason, one I couldn't figure out as I was making checks on my UMP Modified and my six zero four late model car and they stood there, watching me until one of them speaks up.

Sprint car dirt driver 1: “You're Konrad Raab, aren't you?”

Konrad Raab: “Yes I am, can I help you?”

Sprint car dirt driver 2: “We're in the process of helping you before you even know the situation that's going on. Not here obviously, but your future. I'm Donny.

Sprint car dirt driver 1: “I'm David.”

I shook their hands as I know they are legends of the dirt car racing business and it was good to see them, although I was curious on what they were already helping me with as I had no clue whatsoever what was going on with these guys who were drivers, but not today. 

Konrad Raab: “What do you mean you both are already helping me? I didn't ask for it.”

Donny: “Oh Konrad, I know you didn't ask for our help, more that I know you got a massive interest in Sprint and Midget Car racing, but you always thought that you were too tall for it.”

David: “But that's where we come in. You see, Larson wants you to race against him again, but in his Sprint Car racing series one day.”

Konrad Raab: “Yeah, he does tell me how he feels bad for leaving me out from doing sprint car racing because I always felt I was too tall, but he mentioned that Carson, another NASCAR driver that does this?”

Donny: “Yes and would you have you know that me and David over here along with parts from Larson helping us build both a Sprint and a Midget car for you. You see, we know you've been watching and having interest, so we've come up with these car designs for you.”

I was shocked, I knew Larson felt bad for me when I couldn't take part in the Sprint Car race in Australia last year, but I had no idea he was behind the plans of these cars being made and I love the design of them, especially it does match with my wrestling attire and my persona as well. I widened my eyes, more in shock and I really wanted to see these cars made for me in person.

Konrad Raab: “Wow, they all designed to match my wrestling persona and my gear as well.”

David: “That's the point, the world needs to be reminded that you're the professional wrestler as well, especially well, you got the tag titles at the moment, haven't you?”

Konrad Raab: “Yes, with Belladonna Hunter as Ashes and Thorns. You got the Ashes in there too. Wow, the car looks great. So that's the number I'm going to be using huh?”

Donny: “That's the amount of wrestling titles you've won in your wrestling career that we wanted to attach you with. I know that's currently and you could win more, but we can always change the number.”

I didn't know what to say, even got my NASCAR sponsors on there as well which I was trying hard to promote healthy eating, something none of the other NASCAR drivers wanted to do. It was a way to encourage everyone to eat which some of those sponsors were on there, along with the Kaulig Racing ones. Of course, the number was twenty to suit with me holding that many titles in my career.

David: “So now you know that we're currently helping you build these Midget and Sprint Car for you. That you know nothing about until now as we've been working together to get things moving.”

Konrad Raab: “I really am lost for words guys to be honest as I always wanted to do these kind of races because unlike some wrestlers like my opponent for Wednesday Eddie Mercury who's too scared to wrestle without his wife at ringside, I'm not scared of anything.”

Donny: “You don't need to say anything at all as you do too much work for other people and barely anyone does things for you. So we're doing you a favour and you get to keep the midget and sprint car that you can race anytime, anywhere.”

Konrad Raab: “It means so much to me you guys that you would do me a massive favour without me even asking you both or Larson to build me a sprint/midget car.”

David: “We know and this is your early Christmas present lets say and a reward for winning the NASCAR Xfinity Series championship. You deserve it with the hard work you do both in racing and wrestling itself.”

It was a shame that my team members apart from Belladonna weren't interested in my racing career as I would love for them to come and see me race, but at the same time, I won't ever force them to come and only if they want to one of these days. But it was amazing to be gifted these sprint and midget cars made by these fantastic and world class sprint car drivers. But while I was ecstatic and excited for the opportunity of these cars being designed in the pictures, I did have a question to ask for the pair of them as I really wanted to do these races more I watched the races, especially a chance to race against my other friend Busch at times.

Konrad Raab: “When can I see these cars in person?”

Donny: “Come down to Millbridge Speedway on Thursday to see these cars for yourself and give them a drive. They are already built and done.”

Konrad Raab: “Thank you so much guys. I can't wait to go down there, see the cars and then race them for real to finally realise my dream of being able to do racing in these series.”

David: “Obviously you know how to get there as we've seen you a couple of times at that track. Come down and see how the cars fit for you and if it's too small for you, we can resize the car and everything when you test them on Thursday.”

I was so excited that I almost forgot that I had to race today, especially I had briefly had a long chat with Justin, my other best friend in NASCAR that was doing this race and I was so glad to see that as I always wanted to race him again. He had a broken UMP Modified that had to be replaced, god knows how I'd come around on fixing that, but be most likely the engine if anything did break.

Anyway the announcement of all drivers in the four zero six late models class had to go to the grid as a few of my mechanics had the car ready. I got my gloves on and I addressed David and Donny before I put my lid on to race.

Konrad Raab: “Thank you so much for showing me the design of the cars and building the midget and Sprint Cars for me, but I got to go and race.”

I put my lid on and I got into my six zero four late model dirt car and got in it and drove to the grid to wait along with the others to get ready to race, something I was enjoying and was going to enjoy, more with the possibility of driving the midget and sprint cars on Thursday and I also did the UMP Modified race as well. But then my focus turns towards professional wrestling with Eddie Mercery.
